What You Will Be Doing
The
Maintenance Support Analyst provides support to the ships by adding and updating information in the Planned Maintenance System database and ensuring correct data entry related to maintenance jobs, equipment (component) and spare parts that are in line with the company standard. Develop Power BI dashboard as required by Supervisor, R&P and management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and process change request tickets for the ship/fleet Planned Maintenance database, including converting email requests from the fleet into system tickets and making necessary amendments to existing routine tasks.
- Review existing maintenance tasks and jobs, interpret maintenance and operator manuals, and extract relevant data and spare parts information from parts manuals.
- Upload ship drawings and manuals into the DMS and/or component structure, and update equipment data fields as required.
- Manage the quality of data input in the system in accordance with the master standardization reference list, and report any data inconsistencies encountered.
- Create and maintain spare parts databases for new makers and models.
- Develop, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards, and provide insights and visual reports to support decision-making for the Supervisor, R&P, and Management teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related course is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard creation; relevant certifications in data analytics, Power BI, or maintenance systems are an advantage.
- Good knowledge of computer applications and Planned Maintenance Systems, with understanding of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language, with fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
