Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications in an AS/400 or midrange environment.
Support existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
Participate in the full SDLC, including development, testing, deployment, and support.
Support high-volume batch and online transaction processing systems.

Required Skills

Strong experience in RPG400 and RPG III.
Experience with COBOL and/or SYNON in an AS/400 (IBM iSeries) environment.
Alternatively, experience with COBOL or C on DEC VAX or HP3000 platforms.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and application support experience.

Preferred Background

Experience as an AS/400 Programmer, VAX Programmer, or HP3000 Programmer.
Exposure to legacy system maintenance and enhancement projects.
