Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and continuous manufacturing operations. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to meet production targets.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up machines according to production requirements and specifications
- Operate machinery to produce quality products within standard output levels
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow the production schedule provided by the immediate superior
- Prepare materials and supplies needed for production processes
- Record production output and report any issues or defects
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of machines and work area
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
- High school graduate or vocational course related to machinery/technical field
- With experience in manufacturing is an advantage
- Knowledge of production machines is a plus
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
- Willing to work on shifting schedules
