Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform pre-polishing of silicon optical parts using conventional polishing tools and machines.
- Set up tools, fixtures, and polishing materials based on process requirements.
- Monitor process parameters to achieve required surface finish and removal rate.
- Conduct basic inspection and measurement during processing.
- Identify and report defects, abnormalities, or equipment issues.
- Record production data and follow standard operating procedures.
Education & Experience
- At least Senior High School or Technical/Vocational graduate.
- Experience in semiconductor, optics, or manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of polishing processes and handling of precision parts is preferred.
Skills
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to operate polishing equipment and follow work instructions.
- Basic knowledge of inspection and measurement tools.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a production environment with grinding equipment.
- Requires standing for long periods and handling precision parts.
- Must follow safety and cleanliness procedures.
- 6-day work week, with possible Sunday overtime when shipment requirements are critical.
