Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate conventional grinding machines according to process specifications.
- Set up fixtures, grinding wheels, and tools for production.
- Monitor grinding parameters to achieve required dimension and surface condition.
- Perform basic inspection and measurement of parts during processing.
- Record production data and report machine issues or abnormalities.
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety, and cleanliness requirements.
Education & Experience
- At least Senior High School or Technical/Vocational graduate.
- Experience in manufacturing, machining, or optics processes is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and measurement tools is preferred.
Skills
- Ability to operate grinding machines and follow work instructions.
- Basic understanding of measurement tools (micrometer, gauges).
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Basic problem-solving and communication skills.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a production environment with grinding equipment.
- Requires standing for long periods and handling precision parts.
- Must follow safety and cleanliness procedures.
- 6-day work week, with possible Sunday overtime when shipment requirements are critical.
