The Loyalty Manager is responsible for building, managing, and growing Unioil's loyalty programs across its retail network. This role owns three critical outcomes: deepening customer engagement through a compelling loyalty proposition, expanding and sustaining strategic payments partnerships, and ensuring seamless day-to-day program operations. This is not a back-office role — it is a customer-facing program management position that sits at the intersection of marketing, operations, and fintech partnerships, working closely with service stations, third-party providers, and internal teams to make Unioil's loyalty and payments ecosystem a genuine competitive advantage.
How You'll Drive Success
Loyalty Marketing Management
- Manage all loyalty card types and the Unioil loyalty mobile app, ensuring consistent member experience, updated program mechanics, and alignment with broader retail brand standards
- Strategically engage with new partners to bring exciting and relevant benefits into the loyalty program, growing its value proposition for both new and existing members
- Involve service stations and partners in developing engaging in-station campaigns that drive loyalty program enrollment, reactivation, and active card usage
- Develop training materials and engagement tools that equip service station staff to confidently support and promote the loyalty program to customers
- Manage and oversee the implementation of campaigns across in-station and digital channels, ensuring on-time delivery, on-brand execution, and measurable customer response
- Analyze the member base using data analytics to identify behavioral trends, segment opportunities, and design targeted initiatives that deepen loyalty, increase transaction frequency, and improve program retention
Payments Partnership Management
- Handle commercial arrangements with new payments partners and manage their engagement with the service station network, ensuring deals are structured to deliver mutual value
- Manage support for payments programs that benefit service stations and dealers, aligning all internal departments and workgroups to achieve common objectives and seamless program rollout
- Administer proposal assessments and legal requirements for partner agreements, ensuring that all commitments to external and internal stakeholders are documented, compliant, and fulfilled
- Manage ongoing payments partner relationships with a focus on program sustainability, performance accountability, and building the trust needed for deeper future collaboration
- Develop training and operational materials that enable service station teams to support and adopt new payments solutions effectively and confidently
Program Operations & Administrative Management
- Supervise loyalty card logistics planning and inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and smooth distribution across the service station network
- Manage internal operations for card registration and renewal, maintaining accuracy, turnaround time standards, and a positive member experience throughout the process
- Operate the loyalty program's customer support function, managing escalations including cases involving government agencies and service stations, and maintaining service quality standards
- Manage day-to-day program operations including third-party service provider engagement, monitoring of accounting-related expenses, and budget administration to keep the program running efficiently and within approved financial parameters
The Expertise You Bring
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- Post-graduate studies or certifications in Loyalty Marketing, Payments, Fintech, or CRM are an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in loyalty program management, payments partnerships, or a related customer engagement and commercial role
- Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder programs involving external partners, service providers, and internal cross-functional teams
- Experience in the retail, petroleum, FMCG, banking, or fintech industry is strongly preferred
- Prior experience working with e-wallet platforms, co-branded card programs, or digital payments ecosystems is a significant advantage
- Exposure to data analytics tools and member behavior analysis to inform program design and campaign targeting
Skills & Competencies
- Expert-level knowledge of loyalty program mechanics, membership lifecycle management, and customer engagement strategies
- Skilled understanding of digital payments platforms, commercial partnership structures, and the regulatory landscape governing payments programs in the Philippines
- Experienced in banking processes, financial operations, and budget management relevant to loyalty and payments program administration
- Strong people management and accounts management skills — able to lead a team, manage partner relationships, and hold multiple stakeholders accountable to shared program goals
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret member data, track program KPIs, and translate insights into actionable program improvements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with external partners, service station operators, and senior internal stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM systems, loyalty platforms, or payments management tools is an advantage
