Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
Supervise logistics activities across live animal transport, slaughterhouse, and cold storage facilities.
Validate product output and cold chain integrity to ensure quality and freshness.
Monitor adherence to SOPs, biosecurity protocols, and food safety standards.
Implement FIFO practices to minimize spoilage and maintain product traceability.
Continuous Improvement & Efficiency
Lead Kaizen initiatives to optimize logistics workflows. Monitor temperature, hygiene, and compliance.
Track IARTS efficiency (SCAR, operations issue deliverables) and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure 5S accuracy in workplace organization, quality, and SOP compliance.
Partnership Development
Identify, negotiate, and secure reliable trucking partners for live swine and meat product transport.
Build strong relationships with cold storage and slaughterhouse providers to ensure seamless operations.
Coordinate with external partners to resolve delivery complaints and maintain professional customer interactions.
Validate adherence to animal handling standards and facility hygiene requirements.
Conduct routine inspections of transport vehicles, equipment, and personnel for biosecurity compliance.
Support training and awareness programs on biosecurity best practices.
Report and document any breaches of biosecurity protocols, recommending corrective actions.
Biosecurity and Security
Enforce strict biosecurity measures in swine logistics to prevent disease transmission
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles, equipment, and personnel for compliance.
Support training programs on biosecurity best practices and report breaches with corrective recommendations.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare accurate, timely, and comprehensive logistics reports for management review.
Maintain proper documentation for traceability and mock recall exercises.
Develop dashboards, summaries, and incident reports that highlight operational gaps and corrective actions.
Ensure reporting systems are aligned with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Customer Coordination & Issue Handling
Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and any schedule adjustments.
Assist in resolving delivery complaints and product handling issues.
Ensure that delivery personnel maintain professional customer interactions.
Training & Compliance
Attend mandated company trainings, meetings, and seminars.
Support departmental training needs as directed by immediate head.
Demonstrate value-adding participation and attitude in compliance initiatives.
Culture & Values Alignment
Exhibit strong work ethic in handling deliverables.
Ensure compliance with the companys Code of Conduct (COC).
Promote alignment with the organizations vision, mission, and objectives.

Qualifications
Graduate of 4-year course in business, logistics, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or related field.
With valid professional drivers license.
2+ years of experience in logistics operation, preferably in swine, meat processing, or FMCG.
Strong knowledge of slaughter, cold storage operations and swine delivery
Familiarity with Kaizen, IARTS, SCAR, and 5S methodologies.
Proficient in documentation, reporting, and traceability systems.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
Strong alignment with company values and ethical standards.
Willing to undergo training in Cebu and accept assignment in South Luzon areas.
