Job Description

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing and overseeing day-to-day inventory and logistics operations to ensure stock availability, accuracy, and efficient warehouse flow. The role focuses on inventory planning based on demand forecasts, inbound and outbound processing, timely replenishment, regular stock reconciliation, and accurate reporting to support reliable supply chain and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory planning based on demand forecasts to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Manage inbound and outbound processing, ensuring accurate, timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
  • Conduct regular stock reconciliation and cycle counts (quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor SKU movement and initiate stock replenishment to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Prepare and submit monthly inventory and stock movement reports, highlighting variances and operational insights.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and meet operational requirements.
  • Support day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities to ensure smooth execution and compliance with standard procedures.
  • Ensure all logistics and inventory activities comply with company policies, controls, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 10 years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory operations.
  • Proven experience in inventory planning, inbound/outbound processing, reconciliation, and replenishment.
  • Working knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory analysis and reporting.
  • Experience supporting physical counts, audits, and inventory control activities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong operational execution skills with the ability to translate forecasts into daily inventory actions.
  • Solid understanding of SKU movement, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy controls.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Effective coordinator who works closely with warehouse teams, procurement, and operations.
  • Able to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
