Atlas Capture is looking for a Logistics & Customs Operations Specialist (Logistics Operator) based in Cebu to manage the heartbeat of our local operations: our equipment.
This will be responsible for ensuring our data-capture hardware moves seamlessly through customs and arrives at our partner sites without delay. Preferably at least have an idea on ins and outs of the Cebu Port and can navigate complex shipping regulations with ease.
Job Description:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customs clearance; manage documentation (Permits, Duties, Taxes) to ensure Atlas Capture hardware clears the Cebu BOC efficiently
- Manage the storage, maintenance, and tracking of high-tech video capture kits and other equipment, etc.
- Organize the transport and delivery of equipment to various partner locations (workshops, kitchens, etc.) across the region. Liaise with local couriers, freight forwarders, and brokers to optimize shipping costs and timelines.
- Ensure all shipments comply with both Philippine trade laws and international shipping standards for electronic equipment.
Qualifications:
- Having at least 3+ years of experience in logistics, specifically dealing with customs brokerage or import/export operations in Cebu.
- Having the ability to how to handle the unexpected at the port and can pivot quickly to keep hardware moving
- Does not need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable handling and tracking high-value electronic equipment.
- Deep familiarity with the Cebu business landscape and logistics hubs.
- You understand that a single missing document can stall a project for weeks.
