Job Summary:
The Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing both in-house fleet operations and third-party transport providers to ensure the efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods and personnel. This role covers transport planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous optimization while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. In-House Fleet Management
- Schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers for daily operational needs.
- Monitor fuel usage, vehicle performance, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, incidents, repairs, and operating costs.
- Ensure all company vehicles are licensed, insured, and roadworthy.
- Enforce driver policies, monitor driving behavior, and conduct routine safety briefings.
2. Third-Party Transport Provider Coordination
- Source, evaluate, and select third-party logistics (3PL) providers based on capacity, cost, and compliance.
- Negotiate service contracts and SLAs to secure favorable terms.
- Coordinate and monitor daily transport activities with 3PLs to meet operational requirements.
- Resolve transport-related issues such as delays, damages, or service non-compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external transport partners.
3. Transport Planning & Optimization
- Plan and manage efficient delivery and collection routes.
- Consolidate shipments where feasible to minimize transport costs.
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes as necessary.
- Stay updated on local and regional logistics regulations and market trends.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, waybills, vehicle logs, and fuel usage.
- Maintain accurate records to support audits, insurance claims, and compliance requirements.
5. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on fleet utilization, transport costs, and service performance.
- Analyze transport data to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Provide insights to management for continuous operational improvements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 24 years of experience in fleet management and/or logistics operations.
- Solid understanding of road transport regulations and routing tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems (TMS, ERP, or similar platforms).
- Valid driver's license with knowledge of local transport laws.
- Amenable to work at Cubao, Quezon City
Working Conditions:
- Combination of office, warehouse, and field work.
