Job Description

The Logistics Buyer is responsible for reviewing proposals, negotiating pricing, and selecting suppliers to ensure purchases meet the right quantity, quality, cost, and source. This role manages vendor coordination, order processing, delivery tracking, and payment approvals while maintaining accurate procurement records.

The role includes sourcing transportation, warehousing, and logistics-related services, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance based on cost, service level, and availability. It also involves identifying alternative suppliers, supporting product or process improvements, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

The Logistics Buyer conducts cost analysis, monitors price trends, and ensures cost efficiency through effective negotiations. The role also collaborates with cross-functional teams to support procurement processes and system improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • Open to fresh graduates; logistics internship experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and suppliers
  • Capable of cost analysis and making sound purchasing decisions
  • Willing to work in a hybrid setup in Ortigas, Pasig
