Job Description

Responsibilities

Drive initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, productivity, and cost control
Identify capacity constraints and implement mitigation plans
Set operational priorities and act as the supply chain point of contact
Maintain professional knowledge through training and industry engagement
Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities: procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials for solar projects
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments
Ensure on-time, within-budget shipments and compliance with company policies
Monitor inventory levels, usage trends, and reorder points
Ensure accurate stock records, proper storage, and material issuance
Support audits and physical inventory counts
Manage PR, PO, and delivery documentation processes
Evaluate vendor performance and maintain a reliable supplier base
Ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of materials and equipment
Supervise supply chain staff and monitor performance
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to meet productivity targets

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

Minimum 35 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably in construction, electrical, energy, or solar projects
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and warehouse management
Experience coordinating local and international shipments, including customs procedures
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
