Loan Sales Officer

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-oriented and relationship-driven Sales Officer to help grow the bank's client portfolio, focusing on marketing business and personal loan products. This role is responsible in identifying and developing new business opportunities, acquiring qualified borrowers, managing loan applications from initial engagement through disbursement, and cultivating long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in marketing and client acquisition within the financing industry, particularly in personal and business loans. They bring a strong sales background, an established network of potential clients and referral sources, and the ability to consistently drive portfolio growth while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and develop new client relationships to grow the bank's loan portfolio;
• Promote and cross-sell the bank's loan products and other services based on clients needs
• Guide clients through the loan application process, from initial inquiry to loan disbursement
• Review and ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timely submission of required documents
• Coordinate closely with credit, operations, and other internal teams to facilitate efficient processing of applications
• Achieve or exceed assigned sales and portfolio growth targets
• Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degreein Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in loan-related roles within the financing industry
• Demonstrated experience in handling personal loans & business loans,
• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills
• Goal-oriented with good organizational skills
• Experience as a Relationship Officer is an advantage
