The Role

As an integral part of the Branding team, the livestream team is tasked with bringing viewers to exciting places, creating entertaining live streams, and providing other forms of entertainment, resulting in a more engaged social media community.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Livestream Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in live streaming and bring best practices to ensure smooth and stable broadcasts. You will also act as the custodian for all our technical equipment.

Key Task Responsibilities:

• Stream Planning & Execution: Develop and implement live streaming strategies, integrating hardware (cameras, encoders) and software (OBS, vMix) for high-quality broadcasts aligned with branding objectives.
• Technical Setup & Equipment Management: Oversee the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of streaming equipment to ensure optimal performance and stability.
• Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor stream health and resolve issues like latency or buffering using analytics tools (e.g., Twitch Insights, YouTube Analytics).
• Audience Engagement & Interaction: Manage live chat and on-screen elements to enhance viewer interaction and community engagement.
• Collaboration: Work with content creators, marketing, and production teams to align on creative and technical goals for smooth execution.
• Post-Stream Analysis & Optimization: Use analytics to improve stream setups, encoding, and content delivery for future broadcasts.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on streaming technologies and apply best practices to improve broadcast quality.

Job Requirements

• Experienced in managing live streaming projects from planning to execution for smooth broadcasts.
• Proficient in OBS Studio, vMix, or similar platforms for high-quality live streams.
• Skilled in using mobile streaming apps like LiveNow and Larix.
• Familiar with LiveU products for mobile streaming reliability.
• Able to analyze stream data and provide actionable insights for improvements.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on stream quality, latency, and performance.
• Adaptable in fast-paced, high-pressure live streaming environments.
• Knowledgeable in encoding, bitrate management, and CDNs for optimal performance.
