Job title: Life Data Admin Processor
Qualifications:
1. Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree preferably with a medical background
2. Has basic knowledge of life insurance or HMO
3. Must have an experience in claims and policy administration in a life insurance or HMO company
4. Must have good communication skills
Client/ Retrocessionaire Communication and Servicing
1. Regularly communicates with clients and retrocessionaires for the processing of claims (eg. request for missing documents, updates on claims development, etc.)
Claims Administration / Processing
1. Adjudicates/approves or recommends claims actions
2. Processes claims in accordance with Company guidelines and service standards
3. Provide technical support to Cedant's for claims reserving, claims mitigation and claims settlement.
4. Manages and processes retro recoveries; identifies claims with major impact to NAT Re
5. Reviews/monitors the status of outstanding claims and ensures that loss reserves are updated.
6. Prepares/sends claims related correspondence to Cedants, retrocessionaires to protect the Company's rights; ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Monitors the progress/status of event/large losses and ensures that claims with retro recoveries are filed promptly.
8. Recovers all claims within 30 days from the settlement of incoming claims.
9. Prepares monthly computation of accrued Inward Reinstatement premiums, accrued Outward Reinstatement premiums and Recoveries.
10. Updates claims paid monitoring sheet
Policy/Contract & Premium Administration
1. Ensure that all technical information on various contract is created and maintained in the SICS system in a timely, accurate, effective, and efficient manner.
2. Inward policy, outward policy and premium adjustment administration
Report Preparation
1. Prepares/provides the necessary data for reports submission (AMBest, IC and other regulators).
2. Timely, accurate and relevant reports are submitted to other units, cedants and retrocessionaires.
