Job Title:Legal Transcriptionist

Job Summary
The Legal Transcriptionist will manage legal transcriptions and draft professional communications, ensuring all documents are accurately prepared and correctly stored within LEAP Legal Software, which will be the primary system used.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal transcription with high attention to detail
- Drafting and proofreading legal correspondence
- Formatting documents to firm standards
- Correct filing and document management within LEAP
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in legal transcription or a similar legal support role
- Experience using LEAP Legal Software (essential)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to commence immediately
Future Scope (as Required)
- Legal research and discovery
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, briefs, and case summaries
- Filing new matters and court correspondence
- Managing billables and electronic filing systems
- Calendar management, inbox monitoring, and general legal administration
