We are seeking an exceptional Legal & Tax Associate to join a prestigious law and tax advisory firm headquartered in Abu Dhabi, advising clients across high-growth and emerging markets. This role is designed for a high-potential Philippine Bar-admitted lawyer with a strong academic foundation, early leadership experience, and a demonstrated interest in tax advisory and cross-border transactions.

- Genuine interest and early experience in tax advisory, corporate structuring, or transactional work

Key Responsibilities
- Support senior lawyers and tax advisors on cross-border legal and tax advisory matters for regional and international clients
- Assist on tax structuring, advisory, and transactional matters, including corporate reorganizations, investments, and compliance projects
- Draft and review contracts, legal memoranda, tax opinions, advisory notes, and client correspondence to a high professional standard
- Conduct in-depth legal and tax research across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on growth and emerging markets
- Assist with legal and tax due diligence, regulatory reviews, and compliance documentation for corporate transactions
- Coordinate with internal teams and associated regional offices to ensure seamless client service
- Track and analyse legislative and regulatory developments, particularly in tax, corporate, and investment frameworks
- Participate in client meetings, prepare summaries and action points, and ensure timely execution of follow-ups
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB or JD) and admitted to the Philippine Bar (required).
- 13 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Exposure to or interest in international legal practice, tax law, or cross-border transactions.
- Excellent legal drafting and research skills.
- Strong communication skills, with professional-level English proficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Requirements:
- Must be admitted to the Bar in the Philippines.
- Valid passport and eligibility for a UAE work visa.
- Availability to relocate to Abu Dhabi within 3060 days of offer.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and client service orientation.
