Job Description

Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a leading telecommunications company in their search for a Legal Specialist based in BGC, Taguig.

Salary Range: 30,000 - 40,000

Work Setup: Onsite

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Location: Taguig City

The role

The Legal Specialist supports the Legal Counsel by providing comprehensive legal assistance, including conducting research, drafting and reviewing documents (such as contracts, memorandums, and pleadings), advising internal stakeholders on legal matters, and assisting in legal proceedings under supervision. This role also ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, aids in case preparation, and contributes to legal strategy development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support the Legal team and provide insights on relevant legal matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including correspondences, notices, contracts, and memorandums, for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review contracts and other legal materials, monitor the status of legal documents, and maintain accurate records of all legal activities.
  • Perform legal due diligence for site acquisitions, identifying potential legal risks and concerns.
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal team, including attending meetings, scheduling appointments, preparing minutes, and assisting in document preparation requiring legal attention.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel and provide support on other legal projects as directed by the Legal Counsel.
  • Undertake ad hoc legal tasks as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in Political Science or Legal Management.
  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with exposure to corporate law, corporate governance, corporate housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering timely and efficient legal support.
  • Strong analytical skills to review legal documents, identify issues, and conduct minor contract assessments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to proactively identify legal risks and propose practical solutions within the legal framework.
