About the Job
The Legal Associate (Lawyer) is responsible for providing legal support to the Company by assisting in the drafting, and reviewing of legal documents ensuring compliance with the Philippine laws and regulations. Further, the incumbent supports in handling corporate, regulatory, and administrative matters.
- Drafts, reviews, and recommends revisions to contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conducts legal research and compliance assessment on the different line of business of the Organization.
- Conducts reviews of supplier contracts.
- Maintains proper archiving and maintenance of legal documents as assigned
- Identifies potential legal risks in different transactions and provides recommendation for mitigation.
- Other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of work experience
- 2-3 years work experience in the in credit card industry (bank or non-bank issuer) or banking is a must
- Strong legal research skills and with good negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills and communication skills
- Highly analytical and have excellent problem solving skills
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of Tagalog and English. Knowledge of written and spoken Chinese is a major advantage.
- Experience in a law firm is an advantage
