Your Role:
As the
Legal and Privacy Counsel, you will:
- Lead labor relations by providing actionable legal advice on daily HR issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Track and manage the lifecycle of active litigation cases, directly representing the company in administrative proceedings like the NLRC/DOLE.
- Organize and maintain corporate records, board minutes, and regulatory filings while supporting corporate secretarial duties.
- Conduct detailed reviews and negotiations of vendor contracts, international service agreements, and NDAs.
- Develop internal toolkits and policies to promote best practices in data protection and regulatory compliance.
- Support the Data Privacy Officer (DPO) in monitoring legal changes and ensuring 100% compliance across all entities.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables- Member of the Philippine Bar in good standing with a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws degree.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in litigation, corporate, and labor practice within a corporate or major law firm setting.
- Strong proficiency in drafting and reviewing complex legal documents and managing corporate secretarial work.
- In-depth understanding of labor laws, social legislation, and administrative legal proceedings.
- Exceptional analytical skills to translate complex legal advice into practical business solutions.
Preferred skills/expertise- Experience with PEZA applications and tax compliance.
- Data Privacy-related certifications or specialized training.
- Prior experience in a BPO or Managed Services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a paralegal team effectively.
