WSP, a world leading management and consultancy firm, currently have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development, Officer to join our People Team.

The role is to administer regional talent management programmes and support local office learning and development activities. the role is to ensure the compliance with mandatory training requirements, drives employee development, and supports organisational excellence through effective learning and development practices.

Responsibilities

Talent Management

  • Support local implementation of regional Talent Management and development initiatives such as Asia Graduate Programme, Performance and Development Cycle, WSPConnects Mentoring & Networking Programme, Peer Partner Programme; roll out of Horizon ERP
  • Manage local internship programme to promote careers in the Build Environment industry and ensure that programme objectives for each of the cohort are achieved
  • Administer WSP Listens staff engagement post-survey feedback, analysis and action plans by People Managers
  • Review, align and improve on onboarding programme content in consultation with regional Talent Management

Talent Development


  • Prepare monthly and quarterly training reports and track completion rate of mandatory trainings on MyLP (e.g., new hire induction, IT security, HSEQ annual training) at both local and regional levels
  • Administer training request process workflow, attend to enquiries from staff and training administrators
  • Administer annual training budget and spending; process training invoices payment
  • Maintain records of training hours, training spend, and training bonds, ensuring compliance with local governance and automation processes.
  • Coordinate with local training administrators to organise training sessions, briefings and scheduling to deliver seamless learning and development objectives
  • Follow up with Managers on Training Evaluation
  • Prepare training bond letters and advise payroll on liquidated damages for incomplete bond period
  • Coordinate the annual training plan and support the delivery of training in local languages as required.
  • Arrange briefing sessions for L&D programmes such as WSP Pathways, Performance and development cycles
  • Coordinate with external partners for programmes such as iBuild LEAD and other BCA initiatives.
  • Participate in training related audits

Content & Platform Management


  • Act as administrator for the Canopy HR Page, including uploading new content such training policies, procedures and updated training related forms, and updated the Employee Handbook on training and development segments
  • Promote and support the use of e-learning platforms and the Mentoring App within the local context.

Qualifications


Qualifications, Capabilities and Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Familiar with talent management framework and takes initiative to drive actions to achieve TM objectives
  • Strong sense of initiative and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels
  • Experience with HR systems, e-learning platforms, and content management
  • Ability to work collaboratively across local and regional teams
  • Analytical skills for reporting and process improvement
  • Able to balance strategic and operational work with good time management skill
  • Self-driven, professional and tactful, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), meticulous project management, strong communication, and data analysis to track training metrics
  • Communication: Effective Written and oral skills for coordinating with employees and trainers.
  • Presentable: Confident to speak in front of a group
  • Customer Service: Supporting learners and trainers with inquiries and technical issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in scheduling and reporting.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Adjusting to changing schedules or technical issues.
  • Manage projects effectively and independently
  • Travelling to region counterpart when it's required
  • Good interpersonal skills and detailed orientation
