Lean Engineer

Responsible for analyzing moderately complex value streams to identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities in the form of quality, safety, delivery, and cost.

About the job:

• Analyzes moderately complex value stream mappings to develop continuous improvement recommendations. Analysis focuses on production/administration processes in the area of quality, safety, delivery, and cost.
• Draws conclusions on potential improvement strategies for review with the lean team. Recommendations may be shared with the business.
• Tracks project progress to ensure quality and adherence to project and company objectives.
• Supports a lean specialty sub committee in area of focus.
• Other duties as assigned.

About you:

• Bachelor's or university degree
• 2+ years of related work experience
• Familiarity with lean practices (six sigma, kaizen)
• Yellow belt certification preferred
• Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
• Knowledge in MS Office
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
