Primary Functions
- He/she is expected to render support and assistance within his/her section and others in achieving the overall company goals and targets.
- Responsible for performing management to his/her area as may be assigned.
- Support for Major trouble shooting and repair, Generations and implementation of improvement documents and procedures. Leads Planning and Execution and generate report related to his/her area of responsibility.
- Managing & Supervising and Handling Difficult task and projects,
- Take over the task during the absence of his/her Immediate superior.
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the smooth flow of operations in assigned station by attending to the needs and other requirements of his/her technicians to the operation.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of any 2 or 4-year vocational course/s.
- At least 2years work experience as Leader in similar work environment (Tool & Die) is an advantage,
- Supervised and coordinated daily activities of the tool and die fabrication team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Interpreted engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide the manufacturing and assembly of precision tools, dies, and fixtures.
- Operated and maintained various machine tools including CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines to fabricate and repair tooling components.
- Quality inspections and measurements using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM) to ensure compliance with tolerances and standards.
- Can collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, improving tool performance and reducing downtime.
- Trained and mentored junior technicians, promoting best practices in safety, fabrication techniques, and quality control.
- Implemented process improvements that increased efficiency and reduced scrap rates, contributing to cost savings.
- Maintained detailed records of fabrication processes, material usage, and maintenance activities.
