Summary:


Review, validate, print, rename, and upload critical customer electrical assets test data supplied by Technical Service, Electrical Reliability Services and High Voltage Maintenance in accordance with industry standards.



Responsibilities:



  • Download test data on the critical electrical assets of the customer, as collected by Field Service technicians/engineers (Electrical Reliability Services) via the PowerDB, eFolders, or other platforms.

  • Validate electrical test data for different types of electrical equipment, including but not limited to switchgear, switchboard, switches, motor control centers, transformers, cables, circuit breakers, metering, grounding systems, rotating machinery, direct current systems, capacitors, reactors, surge protection, and insulating liquids per IEEE/NETA, NEMA, NFPA, and ASTM standards, and other references, such as Doble.

  • Check completeness and logical sense of electrical test data, test results, and remedial recommendations in test datasheets (from PowerDB, eFolders, emails, etc.).

  • Perform peer review of test datasheets validated by peer Report Writers, and provide feedback and corrections as applicable.

  • Coordinate the review and correction of test data with ERS Service Center engineers, supervisors, and/or managers.

  • Print, rename, and upload datasheet files in designated SharePoint site.

  • Assist in developing process for Large Project Reviews.

  • Attend regular meeting updates with SMEs and POCs.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum but not limited to 0-1 year of professional experience in the field of electrical servicing or construction.

  • Familiarity with standards from National Electrical Code (NEC), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and American National (ANSI). Working knowledge of the following but not limited to (1) tests performed on circuit breakers, switchgears, transformers, and other power distribution components and equipment; (2) power quality issues and perspectives, and experience with power quality analyzer software; and (3) infrared inspections and issues, and experience with thermal imaging software.

  • Good knowledge of technical English, and good business writing skills.

  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Effective working with teammates and POCs.
