Job Description

About the Role:

The Lead SharePoint Developer will lead the definition, design, delivery and rollout of releases of digital knowledge and records management systems, in close cooperation with business stakeholders, vendors and various IT teams. The organization is enhancing its digital workplace and collaboration environment through SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. A Lead SharePoint Developer is required to provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and deploying SharePoint solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and align with enterprise IT standards. The Lead SharePoint Developer will:

  • Lead the end-to-end development of SharePoint solutions, including customizations, workflows, and integrations.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that improve collaboration and content management.
  • Provide technical mentoring and direction to existing SharePoint resources

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Experience:

  • 35+ years of experience in SharePoint development with a focus on UX/UI.
  • Proven experience designing and customizing SharePoint Online (Modern Experience) and/or SharePoint On-Prem.
  • Experience with SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and/or Angular.
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, OneDrive).
  • Prior experience in UX/UI design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.) preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong coding and debugging skills. Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Experience in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks and SharePoint customization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical, user-centered designs.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid. If the user unit requires contractors to report to HQ at any day, compliance is mandatory.
  • Work Schedule is from 8:00AM 5:00PM Manila Time.
