Why this is important to us:
Lead Service Delivery Consultants are skilled professionals who form part of our service operations team working within Customer Services and based within the Global Service Operations team.
The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the reliable support and maintenance of SimCorp clients and to all aspects of service delivery around SimCorp Data Management. They support our clients by providing solutions and deploying services related to the usage of SimCorp Data Management and beyond. They work closely with local and global teams
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Be a point of contact for client installation of SimCorp Data Management Solution / Lead projects and initiatives.
- Assist in training new hires
- Diagnose problems and issues arising in the SimCorp Data Management Solution at existing clients to deliver accurate and timely solutions
- Investigate and resolve issues and service requests that require product domain knowledge according to defined SLAs
- Cooperate closely with SimCorp developers to combine business and technical know-how in analysing client issues and requirements to provide optimal solutions both from a business and technical perspective
- Provide effective solutions on your own initiative, always considering maintenance efficiency and revenue to support SimCorp business goals
- Establish and maintain a network at several levels at the clients incl. management and be regarded as a trusted advisor by the client to build a mutually beneficial partnership long-term
- Collaborate closely with other professionals within SimCorp on a local or global level by way of specialist roles to share knowledge and ensure efficient solutions for the clients
What We Value
- Experience with operating standard applications, a good addition in the financial sector, troubleshooting, resolving issues and/or being an SME for application usage
- Experience working in a larger IT department or operational team or application support at L2 or L3 levels
- With application support experience
- Mandatory: Technical skills
- Examples: PL/SQL scripting, XML/XSL, json/yaml, Powershell scripting or similar scripting language
- Knowledge of Cloud operations (AWS, Azure)
- Basic business understanding of Financial Data Management (reference data, portfolio pricing, corporate actions)
- Experience in maintenance of SimCorp Data Management Solution (Formerly GAIN product)
- Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar academic background
- Solid analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to organize and prioritize one's own work
- Effective communication and presentation skills including listening skills
- A focused approach and inherent ability for problem solving
- Committed, driven, and focused on delivering measurable results
Other Requirements
- APAC / EMEA shift hours (May change depending on business needs)
- Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
