Lead Interior Designer

We are currently seeking a Lead Interior Designer with proven experience in delivering large-scale performance venues such as theatres, concert halls, or similar cultural/entertainment spaces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark mixed-use development featuring world-class public and entertainment facilities.

Role Overview

The Lead Interior Designer will play a key role in the design and delivery of major performance venue spaces within a large-scale development. The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of the functional and technical requirements of such venues, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple disciplines.

The role will involve leading the design of main performance halls and supporting spaces including lobbies, commercial areas (F&B), restrooms, and other functional areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring design excellence, adherence to budget, and alignment with the overall project vision.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver assigned design packages accurately and within project timelines
• Coordinate design and drawing packages with all relevant disciplines
• Perform quality control in line with internal standards and procedures
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and assist in resolving design-related issues
• Lead, mentor, and support junior team members throughout project phases
• Attend and contribute to meetings with consultants, stakeholders, and authorities as required

Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• 12–15 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in designing theatres, concert halls, auditoriums, or similar large-scale performance venues
• Proficiency in Rhino 3D, Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop
• Candidates must be willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE
