Job Overview
The Lead Generation Associate will support outbound sales and business development efforts by engaging prospective customers through high-volume outbound calling. The role is focused on identifying qualified prospects, conducting initial discovery conversations, and either transferring live, qualified calls to the client team or scheduling appointments for follow-up discussions. The Associate is expected to work with persistence, accuracy, and a results-driven mindset while adhering to defined scripts, processes, and performance metrics.
This role requires strong communication skills, comfort with cold calling, attention to detail, and the ability to use MS Excel and CRM tools to track outreach activities, outcomes, and lead status.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound cold calls to prospects using an auto-dialer, following
approved scripts and call guidelines.
Identify and qualify prospects based on predefined criteria to determine sales
readiness.
Transfer qualified prospects live to the client sales team in a professional and
seamless manner.
Schedule appointments for qualified prospects, typically for the next business
day, ensuring accuracy of contact details and availability.
Engage prospects to explain and assist with submission of processing
statements for a free, no-obligation rate analysis.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, outcomes, live transfers, and
appointments in tracking tools and spreadsheets.
Utilize MS Excel to track lead disposition, performance metrics, and daily activity
reports.
Meet or exceed daily and weekly targets for call volume, live transfers, and
appointments set.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure
smooth handoff of qualified leads.
Adhere to quality standards, compliance requirements, and data privacy
guidelines during all customer interactions.
Qualifications & Skills
Senior High school diploma or equivalent (required). Bachelor's degree in any discipline
(preferred).
2+ years of experience in outbound sales, cold calling, lead generation, or appointment setting.
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
Excellent MS Excel skills, including data tracking and reporting.
Ability to proactively interact effectively with prospects, team members, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated persistence and resilience in achieving targets and desired outcomes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Ability to follow structured processes while exercising sound judgment during
prospect interactions.
