The Role

The role of a Principal - Insights is to lead specific research delivery practices to generate insights and intelligence collateral or content for primarily internally facing audiences and client account teams, responsible for oversight and roadmaps for tactical, talent-focused research, and leveraging aggregated AMS enterprise data to align with I&I vision. Operating at a higher strategic level, often overseeing and mentoring Specialists, the Principal, Insights will lead on larger scale or more complex projects and manage higher volumes of work.

Key Accountabilities

What you'll be doing:

  • Subject Matter Expertise - Recognized SME in relevant markets, sources and trends, identifying key metrics which require deep dive in the report analysis (e.g., supply & demand; pay rates; skill sets; candidate behavior; current redundancies or other drivers in the market which may have an impact on client's recruitment strategy).
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation - Oversee and conduct the analysis of market data, recruitment metrics and industry trends to generate actionable insights.
  • Response Intelligence - Research, visualize, and present detailed analysis on competitors, locations, skillsets, and talent in support of key client business goal themes such as diversity to support in-scope hiring decisions and actions.
  • Strategic Research - Lead research, visualization, and presentation of regular strategic, impactful market overviews and thematic research reports on current and future trends with unique thought leadership to support strategic decision making.
  • Quality Standards - Works in collaboration with Quality Assurance to ensure high levels of quality, accuracy, compliance, and impact in Insights operational delivery.
  • Delivery Accountability - Lead collaboration with I&I Hub leadership and I&I Partner to ensure delivery against the insights team output expectation and manage operational delivery of Insights Specialists for client account.
  • Insight Projects - Lead and oversee research, visualization, and presentation of adhoc, out of scope client funded thematic insights reports to support business development and increase the delivery of insights to clients.

Skills & Experience

You'll need to demonstrate:

  • Strong expertise in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and translating data into actionable business insights.
  • Ability to develop and implement data-driven strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Advanced knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Talent Neuron), Talent acquisition and optimization platforms (e.g., Workforce DNA, SeekOut), and other relevant data visualization techniques.
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Possess good understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and KPIs to align insights with strategic objectives.
