Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate material plans to ensure timely procurement and availability of resources aligned with production schedules and customer demands.
- Monitor and adjust inventory to balance stock availability with cost efficiency, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory while avoiding stockouts.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to analyze budget performance, track spending against forecasts, and identify areas for financial improvement.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain and operations, and implement initiatives to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality or service.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor operational performance, including inventory turnover, order accuracy, and supplier performance.
- Work closely with production, procurement, finance, and logistics teams to align planning processes and ensure integrated decision-making.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems related to materials planning, inventory, and cost centers to support reliable reporting and decision-making.
- Participate in or lead projects aimed at process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains within supply chain and cost management functions.
- Act as the subject matter expert for ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and train team members on best practices.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to support new product launches, engineering changes, and production ramp-ups or slowdowns.
- Identify and resolve root causes of material shortages or overages; implement corrective actions.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in a field such as industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations management, or supply chain management, or any related course
Work Experience:
- 5+ years experience and exposure in any of the following fields
- Material Planning, Supply Chain Management, Resource Capacity, or IE-related functions
- 12 years in a lead or senior analyst capacity
- Strong expertise in ERP systems, data analytics tools, and financial forecasting software.
