Level 1 IT Support Virtual Staffing
The IT Support will provide remote technical support to users and ensure that systems, devices, and applications are working properly. This role involves troubleshooting issues, managing user access, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with vendors when needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote support via email, chat, phone, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Log and track incidents and ensure timely resolution based on SLAs.
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access management (email, VPN, shared drives, and other systems).
- Install and configure applications remotely.
- Support collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom, or Google Workspace.
- Help with onboarding and offboarding tasks including account provisioning and device coordination.
- Maintain and update IT inventory and asset records.
- Ensure licensed software is properly installed and updated.
- Monitor systems and escalate issues to senior IT or network teams when necessary.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement or technical support concerns.
- Assist with virtual meeting setup and troubleshooting when required.
- Monitor expiring software licenses and subscriptions.
- Perform basic VPN and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Document recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base articles.
- Maintain professionalism and protect company and client data at all times.
