Job Summary
The Genset Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients for generator set (genset) products. This role focuses on driving sales growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing reliable power solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term business partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate sales for genset products and related services.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote genset solutions.
- Understand customer power requirements and recommend suitable genset products.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Coordinate with technical and service teams to ensure proper installation, delivery, and after-sales support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and project updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 35 years of sales experience in gensets, heavy equipment, power solutions, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of generator sets, power systems, and related applications is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple key accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Willing to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
