About the Role
This role will require preparing and assisting the valuation team to produce a comparable sales report for different types of residential properties in AUS, e.g., apartments, townhouses, subdivided houses and land. This includes but is not limited to gathering comparable samples depending on the required residential dwelling type and collating statistics such as macro and microeconomic and infrastructure data.
To prepare a high-level summary and preliminary analysis to identify the market value of a specific product type in a certain location and generate market insights for projects.
To maintain the valuation database, ensure completion of property deal-related data and expedite the preparation process for quarterly market valuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and collect property data and listing information.
- Maintain a price and property database.
- Conduct a desktop comparable analysis based on Australian standards.
- Present in-depth valuation findings and conclusions in various reporting formats.
- Support the valuation work process improvement.

- Conduct thorough research and collect property data, including listing information, pricing details, and relevant market data.
- Maintain an organised and up-to-date price and property database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Perform desktop comparable analysis using Australian standards and guidelines, considering factors such as property type, location, amenities, and market trends.
- Prepare high-quality reports and presentations that present in-depth valuation findings and conclusions clearly and concisely.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the valuation work process by identifying areas for enhancement and proposing innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and market conditions related to residential real estate valuations.
- This role requires working through Zoom for 8 hours with the camera on
Key Skills & Qualities
- BCS degree in RE management, property economics, valuation, or relevant fields
- Can proficiently read and understand architectural floor plans, site plans, and fit-out specifications.
- Solid technical knowledge of Microsoft Excel/PPT or Google Sheets/Presentation.
- Professional command of working English
Experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using valuation software and databases.
- Knowledge of property market trends and economic factors impacting valuations.
