Job Description

Position: UI/Web Designer

Working hours : 8am to 4pm PH Time - Fulltime role at 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with at least 4 hours of overlap with Central Time to support collaboration with the team and clients when needed.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary on offer: Between $1500 - $2000 Commensurate with experience.

Location: Remote open only to candidates based in the Philippines, as you will be collaborating with and reporting to our current designer who is also located in the Philippines

Role Overview

We are hiring a UI and Web Designer. You'll collaborate closely with the Creative Director and support Senior Designers to create clean, thoughtful interfaces for web and mobile apps, and to design marketing and website experiences. This role is ideal for a multidisciplinary designer who enjoys switching contexts between product UI, websites, and marketing visuals.

What You'll Do

  • Follow direction from the Creative Director and translate guidance into clear, high-quality designs
  • Assist Senior Designers on web and mobile app UI tasks, from wireframes to polished UI
  • Design responsive marketing websites and landing pages with attention to accessibility and performance
  • Create marketing and social media assets that extend brand systems across channels
  • Prepare files, specs, and components for handoff to development
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and contribute to design QA before launch

You're a Good Fit If You Have

  • 1-2+ years of experience in UI, web, or visual design (internships and freelance count)
  • A portfolio that shows strong visual fundamentals: layout, type, color, hierarchy
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma
  • Basic understanding of responsive design, grids, and component systems
  • Curiosity, humility, and comfort receiving and implementing feedback
  • Strong communication and time-management skills

Bonus Points

  • Experience building sites or prototypes in Framer
  • Basic video editing or motion design skills for marketing and social

Schedule

This is a full-time role at 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. We require at least 4 hours of overlap with Central Time to support collaboration with the team and clients.
