Junior Quality Process Specialist

Description

The Junior Quality Process Specialist main functions are a) documentation and implementation of quality checks and inspection in the operations; b) establish and implements assurance and verification of quality procedures and parameters in the operations; c) establish and implement real-time monitoring and analysis of operational performance to any necessary to convey actual performance in the operations for awareness; d) gather quality data, analyze and initiate quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a verification and assurance procedure for any established quality standards, specifications and procedures.
• Will design and conduct training and/or transferring of knowledge and technical-know-how.
• Driven to achieve quality and food safety objectives.
• Aiming for efficiency and continuous improvement of the quality processes, propose and or spearhead projects for quality standards, specifications, and or procedure and implementations.
• Embodying ownership and responsibility on the designated function and processes.
• Participate in any internal and external system audit.
• Ensure proper documentation and records management for all paper works.

Skills and Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or any related degree.
• With at least 2-3 years of work experience in food manufacturing industry specific to establishing standard procedures and reference specifications that will ensure production of quality product and/or process outputs.
• Has knowledge in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, requirements of the FSSC 22000 certification, Quality Management, different quality assurance and/or quality control processes and prerequisite program requirements in a food manufacturing set up with food safety objective.
• With exceptional leadership skills and capable to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
• Detail oriented who has passion for learning and acquiring knowledge about organizational processes related to the function;
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills;
• Have integrity and professional ethic with solid analytical and decision makings skills.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft applications.
