  • Public Sector Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within government agencies and public sector organizations.
  • Understand client needs, procurement processes, and compliance requirements specific to the public sector.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with Vitro Data Center's business objectives.
  • Sales & Account Strategy Development
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and account penetration in the public sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design customized solutions, proposals, and pricing for government clients.
  • Monitor account performance, track contract renewals, and identify opportunities for expansion or cross-selling.
  • Bid and Tender Management
  • Partner with the bids team in preparing, submitting, and managing bids, tenders, and RFP/RFQ responses.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, SLCC requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and technical teams to deliver competitive and compliant submissions.
  • Order Management and Processing
  • Oversee internal processing of service orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Work with provisioning, billing, and operations teams to meet client requirements in compliance with procedures.
  • Serve as the main contact for customers on service order status, addressing any issues or delays.
  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
  • Conduct regular account reviews, meetings, and executive briefings with government clients.
  • Address client concerns promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Represent Vitro in industry events, forums, and government consultations.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track and report sales activities, account performance, and revenue forecasts.
  • Provide insights on account risks, opportunities, and competitive positioning to management.
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Market & Policy Intelligence
  • Stay updated on government ICT initiatives, budgets, and policy changes that influence data center and cloud adoption.
  • Monitor competitor activities in the public sector space and provide intelligence to internal teams.
  • Share insights with product and marketing teams to refine offerings for government clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in key account management, business development, or sales, preferably in IT, telecommunications, or data center industry.
  • Proven success in managing public sector/government accounts and navigating procurement processes.
  • Experience in preparing and managing government bids/tenders and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of data center solutions, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of public procurement laws, SLCC requirements, and contracting frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior government officials.
  • Strategic thinker with solid negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on compliance and detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications in sales, IT, or data center technologies are an advantage.
