Job Summary:
The Junior Mechanical Engineer supports the engineering team in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. This role involves assisting in daily engineering operations while gaining hands-on experience in mechanical engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems (HVAC, pumps, motors, etc.)
- Support senior engineers in preparing technical drawings, reports, and documentation
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and corrective maintenance
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues or abnormalities
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during repair and maintenance works
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Perform other engineering tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage but not required
- With or without work experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge in AutoCAD is an advantage
- Willing to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team
- Willing to do site work and shifting schedules if required
