We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Information Security Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with the Information Security Officer to ensure the integrity and security of our information systems. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated successor in the Information Security Officer's succession by progressively taking on leadership responsibilities and preparing to assume the managerial role in the future.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of information security policies under the guidance of the Information Security Officer.
- Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of data privacy measures conducted by the Information Security Officer.
- Analyze and gather relevant features of information security solutions that align with the Information Security Strategic Plan.
- Collaborating with concerned PCHC business unit/s and third parties providing security solutions for PCHC.
- Monitor remediation of vulnerabilities identified from VAPT, CSPM, and other identified vulnerabilities.
- Utilize threat intelligence subscription in coordination with PCHC internal teams and third parties.
- Support the Information Security Officer in consolidating vendor requirements and following up on related efforts.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of business continuity test activities, including the consolidation of feedback.
- Attend meetings with the Information Security Officer regarding information security solutions and participate in business reviews with service providers.
- Assist the Information Security Officer in maintaining cybersecurity risk registers and control library.
- Utilize strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address information security challenges.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks.
Qualifications
- Work Experience: 13 years of hands-on experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity Risk Management, or Information Security Auditing. Experience in the banking or financial industry is a plus, but not required.
- Educational Background: A degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Work Location: Must be willing to work onsite in Makati.
