Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior General Accountant based on-site in Pasay. Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial records such as journals, ledgers, and statements. The role involves assisting with account reconciliations, processing transactions, generating financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements. The Junior General Accountant will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the company's financial operations, handle payroll entries, and provide support during audits.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organizedGeneral Accountantto join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the overall financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Support budget preparation and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 12 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
