Note: This position is open to entry-level candidates. We offer a 3–6 month internship-to-hire track for graduating students or recent grads to prove their fit before transitioning into a full-time Analyst role.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Analysis & Research
- Market Intelligence: Conduct fundamental research on companies and sectors across Southeast Asia to identify investment risks and opportunities.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial projections, asset valuation models, and risk-return sensitivity analyses.
- Investment Memoranda: Assist in the preparation of deal teasers and investment memos for Senior Management and internal committees.
- Due Diligence Support: Coordinate with internal teams and external resources (legal, accounting, etc.) to analyze potential investment opportunities.
Portfolio Management
- Performance Tracking: Prepare and update cash flow models to track actual cash realizations versus original underwriting forecasts.
- Operations Liaison: Interact with legal counsel, third-party vendors, and borrowers on a monthly basis to monitor investment health.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing quarterly business plan updates and market outlooks affecting investment values and exit timelines.
Qualifications & Requisite Skills
- Education: Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Management Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Potential: Must possess strong Excel modeling skills (candidates will be tested on their ability to build and interpret financial modeling).
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication in both English and Tagalog.
- Sector Interest: A demonstrated interest or basic knowledge in the Real Estate or Hospitality industry is highly appreciated.
- Work Ethic: An extremely strong work ethic with the ability to wear many hats and work across different disciplines.
