About The Role
As a
Junior Accounts Payable/Expense Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the following:
- Timely and accurate processing and payments of invoices
- Disbursement transactions are in compliance to existing Bank policies and procedures and service level agreements
- Accuracy and completeness of the accounting entries, investigate, and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices/payments
How You'll Contribute
- Safeguards the bank from potential losses by ensuring timely review and accurate release of payments supplier, merchants, Mastercard International and SBC Stockholders
- Oversees the timely printing and release of Managers Check and BIR Form 2307
- Reviews and approves the daily documents to support payables transactions
- Ensures accurate and timely preparation /reconciliation and submission of selected GL and P&L Accounts
- Performs process review and improvement through updating of manuals of procedures, policies and Service Level Agreements
- Adheres to internal and external reporting requirements required by internal and external auditors , and Risk related reports /requirements
- Ensures compliance to internal controls and the bank's policies and procedures in processing payables to mitigate risks
- Other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Good communication skills
- Proficient with MS Applications
