About The Role
As a
Junior Accounting and Process Support Officer, you will be supporting projects, systems enhancements, change requests implementation, and processing reviews impacting the Financial Control Division (FINCON). You will also be performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) based on test scripts, reviewing and validating accounting entries, elevating issues to ensure timely disposition, and improving control measures that will mitigate risks according to the established policies and procedures.
How You'll Contribute
- Review UAT, validation activities for projects, BAU system fixes, system implementation, and enhancement impacting FINCON and GL
- Ensures all FINCON-related issues encountered during UAT are documented and closed on time
- Complete all UAT verification on time
- Review selected processes and control measures within FINCON, as necessary, based on risk impact analysis and the resource capacity of the team
- Adhere to Risk Management, Security, and Information Assurance Policies and Procedures. Observes strict maker-checker policy with all the reports and other tasks handled to help strengthen operational control
- Other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in UAT processes, preferably in the banking industry
- Knowledgeable on the Accounting Principles
- With working knowledge in MS Office applications Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sharepoint
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Keen to details
- Able to communicate proactively and effectively with all levels of the organization
