Junior Accountant

Bradford Jacobs has partnered with a pop-culture collectables company specializing in retro-inspired toys, action figures, apparel, and licensed merchandise. The business is known for blending nostalgic design with modern collector appeal, creating products tied to entertainment, music, comics, and gaming franchises for enthusiast and fan communities.

Role Summary

They are looking for a hands-on Accountant to own core accounting responsibilities within a fast-growing consumer products business. This role requires strong US GAAP fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable processes, including invoice matching, posting invoices, vendor communication, payment preparation, and discrepancy resolution
• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including credit control, collections, and reconciliation of customer remittances
• Reconcile Amazon remittances and investigate incorrect deductions to ensure successful recovery and collection
• Perform reconciliations across employee expenses, bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts
• Maintain a clean and accurate general ledger with supporting schedules
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, close checklists, and variance analysis
• Assist with audit and tax support, including the preparation of documentation and responding to information requests
• Partner with internal teams to resolve financial queries relating to customers, vendors, and expenses
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information

Experience

• Formal training or qualifications in US GAAP
• 3+ years of accounting experience in either industry or public accounting
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting system NetSuite.
• Experience working within a consumer packaged goods (CPG) business and manufacturing/factory environments
• Hands-on experience managing Amazon accounts, including remittance reconciliation and deduction recovery
• Experience working with additional retail accounts is advantageous
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with US-based teams
• Comfortable working across all areas of accounting within a small, fast-paced team environment

This is a fully remote role, based in the Philippines.
