Storyoftheseason.com is a fast-growing boutique sports media startup servicing athletic departments for high school and college teams. We offer a wide range of individualized digital media and fundraising solutions. Since our inception, we have published over 6,000 digital magazines for more than 500 programs across the United States, and we have transformed the way sports teams share their story and raise money.

We are seeking to add members to our team who are passionate about sports media and creating beautiful and engaging materials for our sports-based clients. This role is an account manager position. People in this role will communicate with clients daily and design their weekly Story of the Season magazine. Candidates must be fluent in both spoken and written English, and have mastery of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Our ideal candidate is a high-energy person who is deadline and detail-oriented with strong communication, project management skills, and the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously. We are hiring for full-time positions with significant opportunities for growth. This position is fully remote and has an anticipated starting date of June 15, 2026. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Curating content for our clients and organizing digital content databases
  • Provide customer service + work and communicate with clients weekly to ensure project success 
  • Design and publish weekly Story of the Season magazines
  • Uploading game footage and articles to StoryIt's database
  • Provide constructive input during team meetings and planning sessions 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
  • A high school diploma (or at least 2 yrs. of work experience)
  • Preferred - former athlete/sports media experience  
  • Required - Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
