What is the role that we need We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will monitor and analyze global geopolitical developments, producing timely and concise intelligence reports. You will leverage open-source intelligence (OSINT) and media monitoring to track key geopolitical events, including conflicts, economic agreements, natural disasters, and military activities. Your insights will provide valuable intelligence to a diverse audience, ensuring situational awareness and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
- Monitor major international and regional news sources for emerging geopolitical developments.
- Identify and assess significant geopolitical events, including conflicts, policy changes, and international agreements.
- Ensure timely coverage of critical events, ideally within 24 hours of occurrence.
Reporting & Writing
- Develop and publish intelligence summaries (90-120 words) that provide key details on geopolitical events.
- Ensure reports are clear, concise, and well-structured, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain a high standard of writing, ensuring minimal grammatical or syntax errors and avoiding plagiarism.
Entity Curation
- Request the inclusion of new geopolitical entities in the intelligence platform.
- Support enhanced intelligence tracking by ensuring accurate tagging and categorization of geopolitical data.
Information Security & Compliance
- Adhere to information security policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification.
- Report any potential security risks or non-compliance incidents as required.
Essential
Job Requirements and Credentials:
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
- B.A. equivalent in international relations, political science, regional studies, or a related discipline
- Proven ability to collect and analyze open-source intelligence (OSINT) and produce concise intelligence reports.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong understanding of international relations, global security, and economic affairs.
- Ability to analyze media reports and synthesize key insights into actionable intelligence.
- Experience with entity tracking and intelligence platforms.
Communication & Writing Skills
- Excellent English grammar and reading comprehension.
- Strong ability to produce clear, concise, and structured reports.
- Ability to tailor intelligence summaries for different audiences.
