Jr Fullstack Developer

The Role: We are seeking a skiled and passionate UX Engineer (Jr Full Stack Developer) to join our Workflow Applications team. You wil be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and supporting our internal UX tools, with a focus on enhancing the user experience and streamlining workflows for UX Designers, Researchers, and Engineers. You wil leverage your front-end development expertise and understanding of UX principles to build and improve our critical applications.

Responsibilities:

Workflow Applications Development & Support:

● Prototype Development: Develop high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Polygon Studio to facilitate user testing and internal feedback.

● Asset Management: Create and maintain a centralized repository of reusable assets (text, images, videos, etc.) for various projects.

● Template Creation: Develop a library of ad surface templates within our tools to streamline the design process and ensure consistency.

● Component Library Development: Build and maintain reusable, high-quality, responsive component libraries in Lit/React to enhance development efficiency and ensure a consistent user experience across applications.

● Collaboration: Work closely with UX Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to gather requirements, provide realistic timelines, and communicate project progress regularly.

● Technical Refinement: Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize application performance by refining architectural design.

● Code Quality: Write clean, wel-documented code that meets UX, engineering, and functional requirements and adheres to best practices.

● Platform Expertise: Develop deep expertise in the Polygon platform, including its workflows, build patterns, and documentation.

● Onboarding & Support: Provide comprehensive support to UX Designers, Researchers, and Engineers onboarding to our core infrastructure tools (Polygon, DICE, and Shuffle), guiding them towards a high-support model.

Technical Proficiency:

● Front-End Expertise: Strong proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript).

● Web Framework Experience: Proven experience with web application development and modern web frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Lit).

● Responsive Design: Skils in building responsive component libraries that adapt to various screen sizes.

● Prototyping Skills: Ability to develop high-fidelity interactive prototypes.

● Design System Familiarity: Experience with design systems (e.g., Material UI).

● Version Control: Knowledge of version control and colaboration tools (e.g., Git).

● UX Understanding: Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.

● Technical Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

● Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skils to address complex technical chalenges.

● Security Awareness: Understanding of data security and privacy protocols.

● Documentation & Support: Ability to document processes clearly and provide user support and training.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

● Strong proficiency in front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript.

● Proven experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Lit, or Angular.

● Demonstrated ability to build responsive, reusable component libraries that ensure consistent and adaptive design.

● Experience in developing high-fidelity interactive prototypes, preferably using tools like Polygon Studio or similar.

● Familiarity with design systems (e.g., Material UI) and best practices for scalable UI design.

● Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.

● Skiled in version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, GitHub).

● Strong problem-solving and technical debugging skils in web development.

● Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, platforms, and technologies (e.g., Polygon, DICE, Shuffle).

● Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills to work across cross-functional teams.

● Experience supporting UX designers, researchers, and engineers, with a high-support mindset.

● Organized and detail-oriented, with experience in requirements gathering, triaging, and project coordination.

● Ability to document processes, train users, and maintain knowledge bases effectively.

● Understanding of data security and privacy best practices in web application environments.

● Experience tracking and reporting metrics to drive data-informed improvements.

● (Preferred) Experience working in Google environments or with Google Cloud Platform tools.

● (Preferred) Experience working in AI development applications

Amenable to work on graveyard shift.
