Java Software Engineer

Position: Java Developer

Job Type: Permanent

Location: BGC / Makati City

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days RTO (dayshift))

Budget: 100k - 120k / Month

What you will do:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze business problems.

Apply agile development methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions within specified deadlines.

Code, test, and debug software applications, ensuring adherence to coding and quality standards.

Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and development methodologies.

Other responsibilities as assigned by the team lead or manager.

Technical skills:

Non-negotiable: (MUST HAVE)

1. Java (version 8 and above)

2. SQL

3. Spring boot

4. Must be open to do prod support

5. Kafka or any messaging tool but this is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

Hands-on experience in Java development.

Proficiency in Java 8+.

Experience in working with and consuming APIs.

Strong knowledge of SQL.

Willingness to provide production support.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Familiarity with Beanshell or XML.

Experience with cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Knowledge of version control systems such as Bitbucket or GitHub.

Understanding of AI prompting.
