Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly proficient Japanese Bilingual Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a native-level or excellent Japanese speaker with strong knowledge of Keigo and an understanding of Ikigai. This role requires exceptional communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to provide top-tier customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries in Japanese via email, chat, and other support channels.
- Deliver professional and culturally appropriate communication using Keigo.
- Assist customers in resolving account, technical, and service-related issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions.
- Continuously strive to provide service aligned with the principles of Ikigaihelping customers find value and purpose in their experience.
Qualifications:
- Native or excellent Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) with mastery of Keigo.
- Understanding of Japanese culture and concepts such as Ikigai.
- Previous experience in customer support, preferably in tech or SaaS companies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced onsite environment.
- High level of professionalism and empathy in customer interactions.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting international clients.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms.
