The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Manager will lead the company's IT Asset Management function, ensuring that all IT assets, hardware, software, licenses, and digital resources, are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle. This role will be responsible for enhancing (or developing) policies, processes, and controls that maximize value, ensure compliance, reduce risks, and support the company's digital transformation goals.
The ITAM Manager will also partner closely with Finanace, Procurement, IT Operations, Service Delivery Functions and Global teams to ensure strategic alignment, cost optimization, and seamless governance of technology assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic ITAM Leadership
Develop, implement, and maintain the IT Asset Management framework aligned with company's global standards and local regulatory requirements.
Drive ITAM strategy to support cost efficiency, lifecycle management, and sustainability goals.
Establish governance, reporting, and compliance structures for IT assets.
Asset Lifecycle Management
Oversee end-to-end asset lifecycle: procurement, deployment, usage, maintenance, and retirement/disposal.
Ensure timely asset refreshes, license renewals, and compliance with vendor contracts.
Manage accurate asset inventories and CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Financial & Compliance Oversight
Partner with Finance and Procurement to optimize IT spending and vendor contracts.
Monitor software license compliance and mitigate audit risks.
Implement best practices to ensure compliance with company policies, BIR, and data privacy laws in the Philippines.
Collaboration & Leadership
Lead and partner with the IT Managed Services group to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with IT, GRC and Procurement teams to align asset management with business needs.
Serve as the point of contact for regional/global ITAM initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
Provide regular reporting to senior leaders on asset utilization, risks, cost savings, and compliance.
Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements in IT asset planning and investments.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 710 years of IT experience, with at least 35 years in IT Asset Management or IT Operations leadership roles.
Proven experience managing software licensing, hardware lifecycle, and vendor contracts.
Strong understanding of ITIL practices, ITSM tools, and CMDB processes.
Experience in a financial services or multinational environment is an advantage.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in IT Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, or equivalent).
Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 19770, or other ITAM best practices frameworks.
Strong grasp of contract, licensing, and vendor management principles.
Familiarity with basic Philippine IT regulatory requirements (e.g., BIR compliance, Data Privacy Act).
Managerial & Leadership Competencies

Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on business outcomes.
Effective communication skills in both English and Filipino, verbal and written.
