Job Description

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT Support Engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage and coordinate the execution of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess technology needs and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
  • Handle escalated support requests and provide advanced technical assistance when needed.
  • Track and report on team performance metrics and project progress.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop support, system operations, and IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Technical Leadership

-Infrastructure oversight: manage and maintain network system of projects and tempfacil offices.

-Cybersecurity: Implement and enforce security protocols such as operating system patches and network access controls.

Team management

-Provide mentorship and training support (for IT troops and OJTs)

-Collaborations: can work closely with Project Managers, site engineers and support group

-performance monitoring: track team deliverables, attendance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Operations Support

-Deployment: can lead the setup of site connectivity such as telco leased line deployment, new office or temfacil transfer (LAN & Wi-Fi), CCTV new/relocation setup, on-site Wi-Fi provisioning (for tablet users)

-IT Asset management: Oversee IT assets used in project sites, performs quarterly physical inventory, manage transfer (TARF) or disposal (DARF) of assets, maintain records of newly acquired assets and provide IT recommendations for new requirements.

-Troubleshooting & Support: Provide Level 2 or 3 support for field and office teams, ensuring minimal downtime.

Salary: 30k to 40k
